CARE is seeking to recruit an experienced, committed, and suitable professional to fill the following vacancy to support a Global Affairs- Canada (GAC) funded project; AYADI that focuses on the most vulnerable, including small-scale farming households who have been a) affected by the ongoing deterioration of the situation and conflict in Gaza in 2014 and b) the farmers who live in the most vulnerable communities in the eastern slopes, Hebron and the Jordan Valley in the West Bank.

Position type and duration: Full time One year (renewable )
Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) for the GAC funded project (AYADI) will be responsible for the detailed implementation of the project activities in the West Bank, reports’ writing and financial management of the project budget. S/he will work closely with procurement team, finance, partners, and local committees to facilitate communication and build networks. S/he will work closely with the PM in Gaza to produce unified reports to the CI and the donor.
Requirements
-Master’s degree in community development, Agriculture, Management and Business Administration, or other related fields OR combination of relevant education and experience
-At least 5 years’ experience in managing and implementing food security, livelihood, women economic empowerment projec
-Training in participatory community development tools and methods.
-Gender & Diversity Training
-Formal training in Project Management and focused experience on Women Economic Empowerment is a plus
-Training courses in Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation.
-Strong planning and problem solving skills
-Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
-Valid Driving license with clean record and ability to travel across the West bank
-Excellent command in written and spoken English and Arabic.
-Good presentation skills and ability to facilitate group meetings is a definite plus
